Glenn Parker


Wyoming Supreme Court 1955-1973

Glenn Parker was born on November 25, 1898 in Murray, Iowa. He ranched near Big Horn, Wyoming and was a high school English instructor and principal until he was admitted to the bar in 1927. He practiced law in Laramie and was a city attorney and a county attorney. He served in World War I and World War II. From 1949 to 1955 he was a district court judge. In 1955, Governor Milward Simpson appointed him Justice of the Supreme Court following the death of Judge William A. Riner. Parker retired in 1975 and resumed his legal practice in Cheyenne. He died in Cheyenne on April 18, 1989.
