Justice Keith G. Kautz has served as a District Judge for the Eighth Judicial District since 1993. Prior to his judgeship, Kautz was a partner at Sawyer, Warren and Kautz in Torrington. Justice Kautz has served the bar, judiciary and community in numerous capacities during his long career in public service. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1975 and from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1978. Justice Kautz was appointed by Governor Matt Mead on June 5, 2015, to replace Justice Marilyn Stebner Kite, who retires August 3, 2015.[1]
