Wyoming Supreme Court 1888 - 1890
Micah Chrisman Saufley was born on May 13, 1842 in Wayne County, Kentucky. After serving in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, he studied law in Monticello and Louisville and then established a successful practice in Stanford, Kentucky. In 1888, President Grover Cleveland appointed him to the Wyoming Supreme Court. After Wyoming became a state in 1890, he stepped down from the bench and returned to Stanford, Kentucky to practice law. Saufley was a circuit court judge when he died on August 12, 1910
