Michael Golden


Wyoming Supreme Court June 30, 1988-October 15, 2012

Michael Golden was born September 30, 1942, in Enid, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1964 and from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1967. After four years in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, he entered private practice in Rawlins in 1971. From 1983 to 1988, he practiced law in Casper with the firm of Williams, Porter, Day and Neville. Prior to his appointment to the Wyoming Supreme Court in 1988, he served two terms on the state board of law examiners. He retired October 15, 2012, upon reaching the age of 70.
