Robert G. Schrader

Robert G. Schrader was born July 1, 1928 in Canon City, Colorado. He grew up in Missouri and eventually earned a Bachelor's degree from Park College. He later earned two degrees from the University of Wyoming.

Schrader taught school in Thermopolis and Kemmerer before becoming junior high principal in Kemmerer. He was the superintendent of schools in Shoshoni beginning in 1961 and in Cody beginning in 1963. He remained in Cody until he assumed the Superintendent of Public Instruction office in 1971.

He has served on the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees Higher Education Council, Community College Commission, Education Commission of the States, and Wyoming Youth Council.
