Asbury D. Hoskins was born in Marshall County, Illinois on February 17, 1861. In 1880 he moved to Wyoming and engaged in numerous commercial enterprises in Evanston, Hilliard, Granger, and Kemmerer. He was elected State Treasurer in 1918 and served one term. He died in Kemmerer on February 23, 1955.
