John M. Snyder

John M. Snyder was born in Blanchard, Pennsylvania on May 21, 1891. He received a degree in mining engineering from Pennsylvania State College in 1911. In 1915, he moved to Lovell, where he became involved in livestock and sugar beet industries. He served in World War I and the Wyoming National Guard and was a member of the Wyoming Highway Commission from 1922 to 1934. He was elected State Treasurer in 1922 and served one term. He died on July 15, 1961 and is buried in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming.
