William H. Edelman

State Treasurer 1927-1931

William H. Edelman was born on December 25, 1869 in Henderson, Minnesota. He came to Wyoming in June 1892 and established a drug store in Sheridan. In time, he was a member of the Wyoming State Druggists Association, the National Association of Retail Druggists and the State Board of Pharmacy. Active in politics, he was a Sheridan city councilman, city treasurer, member of the Sheridan County board of education, state committeeman, and state representative. Edelman was elected State Treasurer in 1926 and served one term. He died in Sheridan on June 23, 1952.
